University Program Board's
Homecoming Concert
In the fall of 2022, JMU's University Program Board hosted its annual Homecoming Concert. This concert brought the artists Flo Milli and Armani White to JMU for over 5,000 students to enjoy.

Problem: JMU students love concerts, but they do not know that UPB is hosting one on JMU's campus.
Key Insights: Students learn about UPB events through social media and on campus posters.
Marketing Goal: To inform JMU students about the fall concert via posters and social media posts.
Role: Designer and copywriter
1. Creating Hype
To create excitement for the Homecoming concert, I designed and posted this graphic on UPB's Instagram and Facebook.
This created excitement around the concert and who was going to perform. This also kept students engaged with UPB because now they start to make guesses on who the artist could be.

Here are the Reels I made to get JMU students talking about the concert. For three days before artist reveal, UPB gave hints and had students gives their guesses as to who the artist could be.

2. Flo Milli Reveal
I made the poster that introduces the headliner of the concert. I used the colors from the photo given to me and the font used was similar to the Flo Milli's logo. These posters went up around JMU's campus with QR codes for people to scan and buy tickets.

Using the same design, I made the Instagram posts for the concert that introduces the artist and gives some information about ticket pricing.
UPB talked to JMU's VP of Student Affairs, Dr. Tim Miller, and asked if he would announce the artist. He made a video and I posted it on the UPB Instagram. This was a great way to tell students about the concert because JMU students love Tim.

3. Armani White Reveal
After long negotiations with contracts, UPB could finally announce Armani White as the concert opener. Again, I designed this graphic based on the photo given by Armani's team.
