Blue Ridge CASA For Children
Blue Ridge CASA for Children is an organization that helps children currently in foster care. A CASA, or a court-appointed special advocate, is the consistent person in the child’s life during their case.
Problem: Blue Ridge CASA are short on volunteers and need more to achieve their goal of serving 138 kids in the Blue Ridge area.
Key Insights: Middle-aged women typically volunteer for these organizations, but more men are beginning to volunteer. This age group is more drawn to videos  and engaging material on social media. Facebook and Instagram have great features to allow for interactivity.
Big Idea: Allow kids time to be kids. #TimeToBeAKid #TimeToBeACASA
Marketing Goal: To increase engagement on Blue Ridge CASA's Instagram and Facebook.

1. Instagram
I made this infographic that walks one through what a CASA does. The arrows encourage the viewer to swipe to the next slide that gives them more information. The colors used on all the graphics are the National CASA/GAL branding colors.
Paige made these Instagram stories. The quiz gets people to stop and think how much time kids actually spend in foster care. Then when they are shown the answer, that might resonate with them. The next story will tell them that with a CASA kids spend less time in foster care. This may encourage people to think about becoming a CASA or seeing what they can do to help.
Mira made this Instagram reel that explains what being a CASA means.
2. Facebook
I made this Facebook post that has a testimonial from a CASA. Testimonials are great because they are more influential because they are the words of actual volunteers.
Paige made this Facebook post that shows kids doing normal kid activites. This allows viewers to think about how they can help kids who are in foster care get back to doing these activites more often.
I made this infographic for Facebook that shows some statistics about foster kids in the Blue Ridge area. These statistics may shock some viewers and move them to take action.
I made this Facebook story that asks viewers for their help by becoming a CASA. The link in the story makes it easy for viewers to easily click and sign up.
